Overview

The Nusantara system centers on an unnamed primary star orbited by numerous planets, moons, and stations. The heart of Nusantaran civilization lies in the Ashtari Cloud subsystem — a purple-banded gas giant with three major inhabited moons: Javon (the breadbasket), Lazuna (the shipyards), and Serambi (the mines).

Beyond the Ashtari Cloud, the Outer Belt stretches into the cold dark — a scattered ring of asteroids hosting frontier settlements like Suluna, Timara, and Celeva. These outposts drift far from civilization, havens for pirates, prospectors, and those who prefer to avoid imperial attention.

Reading the Map

This map is schematic, not to scale. Orbital positions are arranged for clarity rather than astrophysical accuracy. In reality:

  • Belt settlements (Suluna, Timara, Celeva) drift relative to each other over months
  • Transit times depend on current orbital geometry
  • The Ashtari Cloud's moons complete orbits in days to weeks
