Highbeam Multistellar is an offworld trading company chartered to operate in the Nusantara system. They run the massive orbital shipyards around Maelstrom, the turbulent gas giant, providing ship construction, repair, and maintenance services throughout the sector.

The shipyards are contested space—the Cobalt Syndicate controls many berths, the Maelstrom Corsairs use facilities (likely unofficially), and various other factions vie for access. Highbeam manages this complex political landscape while trying to operate a legitimate business.

The Golden Triangle Company holds the sector’s monopoly charter. Highbeam competes in the open market around it—more flexible, less politically protected.
